Does your child love to get a bit messy and create some fun things for you to put on the frig? In the arts and craft classes we try to introduce your child to some fun ways to make art while learning the basics of colors, design and so many fun ways to create. Learning while having creative fun is the goal in these classes.

You can see from the pictures we love to do colorful and fun designs that are all different for each child. I present the things to them to use for the lesson and then they are on their own to create…they have so much fun , there is no wrong answer in my classes just their own creativity with the items they have to work with for the day.

STEM & Steam Classes

What is STEM & STEAM? It is a great way to sum up all the fun we have creating new things from imagining how something works, trying our idea out and then making the changes to reach our goal. Technically, it’s an acronym meaning Science, Technology, Engineering and Math all rolled into a fun class. When the A is added to make it STEAM then the fun includes art as well. I love recycling, creating and art so this was the class I thought would be a fun way to bring more education into my classes. You can work together with a group or you can be on your own to build and create. We learn from each other when we begin the challenges and creating our own designs. One of my favorite is to take 5 things from the recycling bin I have in the class and create either an animal or a toy. Love the results every time! No matter age my students are they always come up with something I haven’t seen before.

 

Custom Classes

If you have an idea or a special group of people you would like to have a class, I have a space on Aloma in WInter Park. We can talk over what you would like to do and how long your would like your class to be and I can create something that fits your group perfectly! The maximum number of participants would depend on the age and theme.

We don’t discriminate on age, we even work with seniors. We have an ongoing class that is customizable for any group of seniors come together to socialize and engage in crafts. It is so great to see the smiles and fun they have working on the projects.

Doesn’t matter if you’re a home school group or a senior center we can create a custom craft class for you and your friends to enjoy a fun few hours can get together!
